You will work with Rebecca, and all the ridiculous expertise she brings to the table to find your unique selling point, your story and the connection to the needs of the professional speaking market. Ignite is about purpose, and finding what it is about your story that is your starting point for a successful speaking career.
How does it work?
You’ll have 6 x 75-minute sessions one-on-one with Rebecca. It’s authentic, it’s energizing and it’s real. But so you know what you’re getting yourself into – here’s a short summary of each and every session.
Session One: Ignite Your Purpose
This one’s a goodie. In this you and Rebecca will spend time exploring your desire to become a professional speaker and your driving forces. You’ll tell Rebecca your life story, and probably talk about things you didn’t even know were relevant, all the while letting Becs create magic. There’ll be a huge list of questions to identify your understanding and experience within the corporate speaking world, get to the heart of your content, get a feel for your key topics and set some core objectives for your speaking career.
Session Two: Commit to Ignite
In between your first and second session, Rebecca will spend some time putting together a summary for you, it will be thorough and clear. You’ll then spend some time doing a thorough Marketing audit of your existing brand and collateral, things like your website, social media, blogs, brochures, testimonials, speaker reels, support material for clients, really anything and everything that promotes you which will set the foundation for you to plan out the steps needed to amplify your personal marketing. At the end of this session, you will walk away with a full Marketing summary, and an action list chocked full of homework to keep you on track to get the most out of Ignite.
Session Three: Ignite the Tools
Time to review that action list and begin to build your toolkit! This session Becs shares all of that behind-the-scenes magic that will make your life easier. Keynote Planners, Topic Tools, Learning Keys and a whole bunch of questions to ensure that your Biography and Topics practically sell you, for you! This is where your story and the Ignite structure begin to work hand-in-hand to build your brand as a speaker. Once again – these tools are left in your hands to incorporate your content before the next session.
Session Four: Ignite your Preparation
By this stage, you’re raring to go. You’re excited, your topics are clear and your content is organised. So how are you preparing to get onstage and wow your clients? After a review of your action list from session three, in which you will have used those glorious templates to help organise all of your genius thoughts, you’ll jump straight into stagecraft, speaking with certainty and confidence and your use of slides and supporting media. As with every step of the process, you’ll walk away with a summary from Rebecca of her key points for you.
Session Five: Ignite your sales
This one’s a little self-explanatory – how do you get bookings in your diary now that you’re ready to go? Rebecca will help you, and challenge you to refine your 10 min pitch and sales content, and how to tailor those pitches to the different people you might be pitching to. You’ll learn how to prepare and respond to a comprehensive client brief, personalise proposals, create video proposals, conduct briefing calls and any other skills you might need to get those sales over the line. There’ll also be specific time spent on how to work with agencies and get the most out of those relationships.
Session Six: Ignite the Stage
You’ve made it! You’ve got everything you could possibly need to become the next world-class speaker this world has ever seen. So to finish off, Becs will go through your initial action list, and make sure that everything has been ticked off. You’ll give a 20-minute presentation to her and the team, and will walk away with feedback from some of the industry’s best. And trust me, this team has seen and worked with some of the best – you want to hear what they have to say!
